We continue to shape our filmography on mental health, madness and activism. Below is our working list of films, which is by no means comprehensive nor representative of ideal explorations, but rather may offer different starting points for further conversations. Regarding the generation of film lists, we recommend reading Elena Gorfinkel's Manifesto Against Lists and Malin Guha's article Revisiting Lists in a Time of Rebellion. We also wonder about and experiment with how to watch films together. We have been drawing on interrupted screenings as practised by cine militante in Argentina (Unidad Móvil Rosario) and Uruguay (Cinemateca del Tercer Mundo) in the 1960s and 1970s and more contemporary Elena Boschi (Radical Film Network). We gathered thoughts and questions that emerged as we organised and co-organised screenings on a text we wrote for Leonorana #4 Cuidar/Care (also available here).
